Growing Number of Hotels at Major Brands Committing to Protecting Customers, Guests, and Employees with CardioReady® Certified Cardiac Emergency Programs

Philadelphia, PA - April 20, 2007 - Properties from prestigious and well-known brands are continuing to make and promote their commitment to cardiac emergency readiness by joining the CardioReady Network. CardioReady® Certification, developed in conjunction with the American Heart Association's guidelines, provides a recognized, life-saving standard which employs best practices in an on-site automated external defibrillator (AED) program for treating persons who have suffered Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA).

Among the major brands with hotels recently joining the CardioReady Network are Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group, Loews Hotels, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
